runningbrooke runs marathons around the world... one on each of the 7 continents -- 5 done with Antarctica in March, in each of the 50 states -- 33 run as of 1/12, and the 5 world marathon majors -- done! She runs over a marathon-a-month, AND pay all of her own travel fees and expenses, to inspire others -- with her dedication and sweat -- to get involved in our community and to donate either their time or money to 5 vital Alexandria-based charities. Since establishing The runningbrooke Fund in May of 2009, she's run over 44 marathons and raised and donated over $90,000.
